Financial Planning Analyst – Fixed Term (7 months)

About the role

The Financial Planning Analyst will join UKTV’s FP&A team on a 7‑month fixed‑term contract, supporting budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning for the UK region and contributing to global reporting across EMEA and APAC.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Senior FP&A Lead and business stakeholders in delivering the annual budget, long‑range plan and quarterly forecasts for UKTV’s commercial areas.
• Act as the primary UKTV contact for the BPC planning system, coordinating budget and forecast uploads and liaising with the BBC Studios Finance Systems team.
• Prepare high‑quality financial reporting, presentations and planning submissions for the wider BBC Studios Group and consolidate data across EMEA and APAC.
• Develop tools, models and processes to improve analytical capabilities and drive automation within the FP&A function.

Required profile

• Experience in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting and building financial models.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Attention to detail and a continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• Experience with SAP and BPC (or similar financial planning systems).
