Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A Senior)

About the role

We are looking for a commercially‑minded FP&A Senior Analyst to drive insight, performance and strategic decision‑making for a multi‑site business in Chester. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, hybrid with two days per week in the office, reporting to the Head of FP&A.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the FP&A team to deliver high‑quality financial analysis and reporting.
• Build and maintain robust budgets and forecasts for leased & tenanted and managed operations.
• Produce clear variance analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting frameworks in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Support strategic and operational projects as directed by the Head of FP&A.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems and financial controls.

Required profile

• Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
• Proven experience in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, including financial modelling.
