Financial Planning Analyst (Power BI)

About the role

We are looking for a Power BI and FP&A Analyst to join our market‑leading client in Chester city centre. The role focuses on developing and enhancing Power BI reporting and supporting core financial planning and analysis activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve Power BI reports, scorecards and interactive dashboards.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into user‑friendly reporting outputs.
• Support data quality, testing and issue resolution for reporting solutions.
• Produce accurate weekly and month‑end performance reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Strong Power BI expertise, including dashboard design and data visualisation.
• Proficiency with data models, transformation and reporting datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
• Good understanding of financial and operational reporting.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive, improvement‑focused and collaborative mindset.
