Financial Reporting Manager – 9‑Month Contract

About the role

This 9‑month contract offers the chance to join a leading global investment management firm in London. Working within a high‑performing finance team, you will own the statutory reporting process, support the annual audit and maintain robust financial controls across a complex group structure.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of UK GAAP statutory financial statements for multiple legal entities.
• Manage the external audit process, acting as the primary contact for auditors from planning to completion.
• Oversee month‑end reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations and key control activities.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and ensure compliance with UK GAAP and internal policies.
• Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes and control frameworks.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 5‑8 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Audit‑trained background, preferably within financial services.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and hands‑on statutory reporting experience.
• Proven ability to lead annual external audits and work with senior stakeholders.
