Financial Reporting Manager

About the role

Lead ClearBank’s external financial reporting, overseeing the Annual Report and Accounts and ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements. You will coordinate finance, business stakeholders and external auditors to deliver high‑quality, timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead end‑to‑end preparation of the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts, including consolidated IFRS financial statements, notes and disclosures.
• Prepare and oversee standalone statutory accounts for regulated banking entities in the UK and EU.
• Lead the external audit workstream, acting as primary contact for auditors and coordinating audit evidence across the business.
• Develop and maintain working papers, disclosure checklists and financial controls to ensure accuracy and auditability of published reporting.
• Produce Board‑level papers, going‑concern assessments and support Board Audit Committee reporting.

Required profile

• At least two years of hands‑on experience preparing and managing Annual Reports and statutory financial statements, preferably in fintech or banking.
• Strong practical knowledge of IFRS and ability to apply accounting and disclosure requirements.
• Proven ability to manage complex reporting timetables, coordinate multiple contributors and meet external deadlines.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with relevant post‑qualification financial reporting experience.
