About the role
We are looking for a C#.NET Engineer to join the Financial Systems team of a leading Japanese IT company in central London. The role focuses on developing, maintaining and enhancing banking, securities and insurance applications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and enhance financial systems across banking, securities and insurance domains.
- Design and optimise databases, primarily using SQL Server.
- Build applications and Web APIs (REST/SOAP) with C#.NET.
- Propose and implement new functionalities and improvements to existing platforms.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions.
Required profile
- 3+ years of professional experience developing with C#.NET.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database operations.
- Familiarity with version‑control tools such as Git.
- Business‑level English proficiency.
- Experience in financial services (banking, securities, insurance) is a plus.

What we offer
- Hybrid working model based in central London.
- Salary up to £60,000 per year, dependent on experience.
- Full‑time, 1‑year fixed‑term contract with potential renewal or permanent placement.
- Standard office hours 9:00‑17:00, Monday‑Friday.
- Negotiable start date.
