Financial Systems Developer – C#.NET Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a C#.NET Engineer to join the Financial Systems team of a leading Japanese IT company in central London. The role focuses on developing, maintaining and enhancing banking, securities and insurance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance financial systems across banking, securities and insurance domains.
• Design and optimise databases, primarily using SQL Server.
• Build applications and Web APIs (REST/SOAP) with C#.NET.
• Propose and implement new functionalities and improvements to existing platforms.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience developing with C#.NET.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database operations.
• Familiarity with version‑control tools such as Git.
• Business‑level English proficiency.
• Experience in financial services (banking, securities, insurance) is a plus.

What we offer

• Hybrid working model based in central London.
• Salary up to £60,000 per year, dependent on experience.
• Full‑time, 1‑year fixed‑term contract with potential renewal or permanent placement.
