About the role

As a Financial Wellbeing Adviser you will help local residents navigate personal finance, energy options and digital services. You will deliver practical, structured solutions that build long‑term financial resilience and independence.

Key responsibilities

• Assess complex financial situations and identify unclaimed benefits or hidden causes of fuel poverty.
• Lead calm, professional conversations that put clients at ease and reduce stigma around seeking support.
• Provide clear guidance on budgeting, saving and digital inclusion, tailoring advice to adults with varied educational backgrounds.
• Conduct home visits and community outreach while maintaining a base in the St Leonards‑on‑Sea office.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Partnerships & Development Manager to manage caseloads.
