Fine Art Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Fine Art Technician to join a growing team in the Heathrow area. The role involves handling, packing, transporting and installing valuable artworks for galleries, museums, exhibitions and private clients. You will work closely with clients and colleagues to ensure each piece is treated with the utmost care.

Key responsibilities

• Safely pack, move and transport fine art and other high‑value items.
• Carry out artwork installations and removals at galleries, museums, exhibitions and private residences.
• Load and unload vehicles, protecting items during transit.
• Complete condition reports and identify any damage or irregularities.
• Maintain accurate records, inventories and packing documentation.
• Assist with warehouse duties, including storage and stock management.
• Ensure equipment, vehicles and tools are maintained and used safely.
• Travel within the UK and occasionally overseas as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fine art logistics, art handling, museums, galleries or high‑end removals.
• Strong attention to detail and a careful approach to delicate objects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible attitude towards working hours and travel requirements.
• Ability to produce accurate condition reports and maintain documentation.
