Finisher – New Build Housing – Middlesbrough

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Finisher to join a busy team on a new‑build housing development in Middlesbrough. This ongoing contract role focuses on delivering the final, high‑quality touches that ensure each home is ready for handover to the buyer.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out snagging and finishing works across new‑build plots.
• Perform high‑quality patch plastering and wall repairs.
• Complete internal painting and decorating to a pristine standard.
• Apply neat, professional mastic or silicone sealing in kitchens, bathrooms and around fixtures.
• Correct defects or minor damage left by other trades before final handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finisher, Snagging Hand or Multi‑Trade Operative on new‑build housing sites.
• Strong competency in patch plastering, painting and masticing.
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Own tools and full PPE – hard hat, high‑visibility vest/jacket and steel‑toe boots.
• Exceptional eye for detail, reliability and the ability to work independently.
