Fintech Card Payments Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Card Payments Specialist to lead the strategic direction, operational performance, security and development of our payment ecosystem across two retail brands and roughly 800 locations. You will own the end‑to‑end payment card infrastructure, ensuring it remains secure, resilient, compliant and commercially effective.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete payment card processing environment, including terminals, switching hosts, gateways, acquiring and loyalty integrations, and mobile payment apps.
• Maintain high availability, performance and security of all payment services.
• Manage relationships with third‑party suppliers for network services, terminal provision, switching, and support functions.
• Define, monitor and enforce SLAs, KPIs and contractual obligations; lead supplier performance reviews.
• Provide third‑line technical support, act as senior escalation point and maintain operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS and P2PE standards.
• Lead payment‑related projects, coordinate stakeholders, manage risks, budgets and implementation activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payment processing, fintech solutions and technical architecture.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage vendor relationships.
• Leadership capability to guide a small technical team.
