FinTech Underwriter – Professional Indemnity & D&O

About the role

We are partnering with a Lloyd's Syndicate to expand their FinTech and digital‑asset underwriting team in London. The role focuses on Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers and Crime insurance for emerging technology businesses, helping shape a specialised portfolio in a fast‑moving market.

Key responsibilities

• Underwrite new business and renewals for FinTech and digital‑asset clients.
• Assess complex, evolving exposures across innovative platforms and business models.
• Develop pricing and risk selection strategies to build a profitable portfolio.
• Collaborate closely with brokers to design bespoke coverage solutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust underwriting approach as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of underwriting experience, preferably within Financial Lines or Financial Institutions.
• Demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and digital assets.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate novel risk exposures.
• Proven track record of managing Professional Indemnity, D&O and Crime lines.
