Fire Alarm Engineer – Edinburgh (Local Patch)

About the role

We are seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer to join a stable, multinational energy and facilities services provider. You will work on a local Edinburgh patch, servicing fire, CCTV and security systems across solar sites, NHS facilities, stadiums and commercial buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain fire alarm, CCTV and security solutions.
• Provide routine servicing and emergency response for assigned sites.
• Cover a defined local patch in Edinburgh with no requirement to work away.
• Attend training sessions to gain expertise on all company systems.
• Work Monday‑Thursday 8:30‑17:00 and Friday 8:30‑16:00 (39 hours/week).

Required profile

• Experience as a Service or Installation Engineer, preferably with a fire alarm background.
• Willingness to undertake training on additional systems.
• Ability to work independently on site and follow health & safety procedures.

• Salary £35,000‑£40,000 (OTE £45,000) plus overtime.
