Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm & Fire Extinguisher Engineer to join a fast‑growing fire and security company in Leeds. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers a competitive basic salary with the potential to earn up to £50,000 OTE through overtime, on‑call duties and commission.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair and fault‑find fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers across multiple sites.
• Work with a wide range of manufacturers and fire detection equipment.
• Participate in rotational out‑of‑hours on‑call duties covering Leeds and surrounding areas.
• Ensure compliance with NSI codes of practice and current industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in servicing and fault‑finding of fire alarms and extinguishers.
• Knowledge of both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
• Familiarity with major panel brands such as Morley, Advanced, Kentec, C‑Tec, Gent, Notifier and VESDA.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
