Fire Alarm Systems Sales Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to sell fire alarm and fire‑and‑security systems across the Midlands. You will receive warm leads and be responsible for turning them into successful installations for hospitals, commercial sites, contractors and other customers.

Key responsibilities

• Generate sales from warm leads and existing accounts, quoting alterations and new installations.
• Develop relationships with clients in the healthcare, commercial and construction sectors.
• Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate system specifications and compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling fire alarm or fire‑and‑security systems for an FIA, NACOSS NSI, SSAIB or BAFE‑registered company.
• Strong knowledge of fire detection and alarm system technology.
• Based in the Midlands (East, West, North or South) and able to work onsite.

What we offer

• Base salary £40k‑£50k per year.
• Uncapped commission (average 10% of gross invoice) with OTE up to £70k.
