Fire and Security Engineer

About the role

Join an established electrical contractor as a Fire and Security Engineer, working on high‑end residential, historical estates and elite client projects across London and Surrey. You will contribute from project conception through to completion, gaining exposure to prestigious installations and a supportive, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate to projects from design to handover, installing fire alarm and security systems and performing selected electrical installations.
• Carry out commissioning and routine maintenance on high‑end residential sites.
• Participate in an on‑call rota to respond to urgent service requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fire and security or automation engineering.
• Background in construction or engineering projects.
• Valid full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Fire alarm system installation.
• Security system installation.
• Electrical installation.
• Commissioning of fire and security equipment.
• Maintenance of installed systems.
• Automation knowledge.
