Fire Door Installer (Bath)

About the role

Axis CLC is seeking experienced Fire Door Installers to join its Bath team on a long‑term framework contract. You will work on historic and traditional buildings, delivering fire‑safety installations, maintenance and compliance work across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Fit complete fire‑door sets, frames and ironmongery to specification.
• Carry out fire‑door adjustments, remedial works and routine maintenance to ensure compliance.
• Perform fire‑stopping tasks across diverse property types.
• Inspect fire doors, record findings and produce accurate reports.
• Undertake supporting carpentry, plastering and minor decorating to aid project completion.
• Collaborate with site teams to meet programme deadlines and quality standards.
• Follow health‑and‑safety procedures and complete risk assessments for all activities.

Required profile

• Skilled tradesperson with proven experience in fire‑door installation, fire‑stopping or refurbishment projects.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong commitment to health‑and‑safety standards.
