Fire & Security Engineer – Andover

About the role

We are seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join our client’s growing team in Andover. The role involves installing, servicing and maintaining fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems across Hampshire and surrounding areas. This is a full‑time, permanent, field‑based position.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
• Cover a range of sites in Hampshire and surrounding areas, working on multiple manufacturers’ equipment.
• Ensure high quality of work and effective communication with customers.
• Complete tasks efficiently and support team members when required.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in the fire and security sector.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Positive attitude, self‑motivation and willingness to seize opportunities.
• Willingness to train in any discipline if required.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, City & Guilds.

• CCTV systems installation and maintenance.
• Access control systems installation and maintenance.
• Fault‑finding and repair of security equipment.
• Knowledge of a range of manufacturers’ products.
