Fire & Security Engineer – Cambridgeshire

About the role

We are seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas. This full‑time permanent position involves field work across multiple sites, delivering installation, service and maintenance of fire and security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access‑control systems.
• Cover a range of sites across Cambridgeshire, working with various manufacturers.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers throughout each project.
• Provide support to fellow team members when required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Minimum three years’ experience in the fire and security sector.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and eager to seize opportunities.
• Willingness to undertake training on additional disciplines.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, City & Guilds.
