Fire & Security Engineer – Kent (Up to £45k)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join a fast‑growing team in the South East. The role is field‑based, covering multiple client sites and offering a competitive salary with overtime potential.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
• Work across a variety of manufacturers’ equipment.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide timely updates.
• Support colleagues on complex tasks and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience in the fire and security sector.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Positive, self‑motivated attitude with a drive to seize opportunities.
• Willingness to train across single or multiple disciplines.
• Relevant qualifications such as IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA or City & Guilds are desirable.
