Fire & Security Engineer – Property Compliance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join our client’s Property Compliance team, covering Andover and surrounding areas. The role involves travelling to occupied premises, with a company van and fuel card provided.

Key responsibilities

• Test, service and install fire systems, emergency lighting, automatic opening vents (AOV) and CCTV.
• Identify faults, manage repairs and installations for door entry, access control and door operators.
• Provide excellent customer service while working on occupied sites.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in fire safety, door entry or access control.
• F.I.A or equivalent certification; electrical qualifications are advantageous.
• Full, current driving licence with at least two years’ driving experience.
• Residency within 20 miles of Andover is preferred.

Required skills

• Fire systems and emergency lighting.
• Automatic opening vents (AOV) and CCTV.
• Door entry, door access and door operators.
• Use of iPad‑based IT tools.
