Fire & Security Engineer (Tube Based)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is based in Central London and serves commercial clients across the city and the M25 area. The role is tube‑based, meaning you will travel using the London Underground rather than a car, allowing you to focus on installing, servicing and maintaining fire and security systems while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and fault‑find a range of fire and security systems.
• Work on intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms and access‑control installations.
• Travel to customer sites across Central London and the M25 using the Underground network.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs efficiently and complete accurate service reports.
• Participate in a paid on‑call rota when required.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Good communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Relevant industry qualifications or manufacturer training is preferred.

• Basic salary £30,000‑£40,000 per year plus average £6,000 in overtime, bonuses and call‑out payments.
