Fire & Security Engineer – Tube Based (London)

About the role

We are looking for a Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing company covering Central London and the M25. This tube‑based position is ideal for engineers who prefer using public transport to travel between client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and fault‑find fire and security systems including intruder alarms, CCTV, fire alarms and access control.
• Travel to customer sites across Central London and the M25 using the London Underground network.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs efficiently and complete accurate service reports.
• Provide on‑site technical support and excellent customer service, and participate in a paid on‑call rota when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer in commercial environments.
• Experience with one or more of the following systems: fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms or access control.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
• Relevant industry qualifications or manufacturer training is preferred.

• Basic salary £30,000‑£40,000 plus average additional earnings of ~£6,000 per year through overtime, bonuses and call‑out payments.
