Fire & Security Engineer – Up to £45,000

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team serving Dorset and surrounding areas. This full‑time, permanent position is field‑based, offering a mix of installation, maintenance and customer interaction across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
• Cover a variety of client sites, working with multiple manufacturers' equipment.
• Ensure high‑quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers throughout each project.
• Support fellow team members and contribute to efficient task completion.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• At least 3 years’ experience in the fire and security sector.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and eager to seize opportunities.
• Willingness to undergo training on new systems.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, City & Guilds.
