Fire & Security Service Engineer – North Wales / Cheshire

About the role

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault‑finding fire and security systems across commercial, industrial and domestic sites in North Wales and Cheshire. The role involves both planned and reactive work, ensuring systems operate safely and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance visits
• Reactive service and breakdown attendance
• Fault finding, diagnosis and repairs
• Occasional installation tasks where required
• Participation in an on‑call rota (currently 1 week in 6)

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing fire & security systems
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong fault‑finding skills
• Good attendance record and ability to pass industry‑standard security screening
• Full UK driving licence and computer literate, comfortable using mobile devices/PDAs

• Galaxy intruder alarm systems (essential)
• Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier (desirable)
• CCTV analogue and IP systems
• Remote monitoring systems
• Kentec, Ziton, C‑Tec fire alarm systems (essential)
• Paxton Net2 access control
