Fire & Security Systems Engineer

About the role

Join a leading independent fire and security solutions provider as a Fire & Security Systems Engineer. You will work on a variety of installations and maintenance tasks, representing the business and delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire extinguishers, fire alarm panels, emergency lighting, and intruder alarm systems across commercial sites.
• Service and fault‑find CCTV and access control equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Carry out minor works and repairs on site, adapting to diverse daily tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate progress to clients.
• Represent the company professionally, providing exceptional customer service on every visit.

Required profile

• Experience maintaining and fault‑finding fire alarms, access control, intruder alarms, or CCTV systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo BS7858 security screening.
• Diligence and commitment to safety and quality standards.
