Fitter – Mechanical Assembly for Recycling Equipment

About the role

CK International is looking for a skilled Fitter to join its production team in Dungannon. You will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and testing balers and compactors used in recycling and waste management, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and fit components for recycling and waste equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic installations.
• Ensure all builds meet quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a mechanical fitting or assembly role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and proactive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Health and safety awareness.
