Fixed-Term Landscaper – Habitat Creation

About the role

We’re looking for a hands‑on Landscaper to join our field team delivering habitat creation and river‑park maintenance. You will work across our Salisbury site carrying out habitat establishment, invasive‑species control, monitoring and after‑care, operating machinery and preparing sites while collaborating closely with ecologists and site managers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sites for landscaping works, including clearing vegetation and ground preparation.
• Lay wildflower turf and carry out turf establishment works.
• Plant trees, shrubs and marginal plants according to project specifications.
• Maintain newly planted areas through hand weeding, selective strimming and mulching.
• Inspect and adjust tree stakes, ties and guards to support healthy establishment.
• Reinstate damaged turf and planted areas to a high standard.
• Remove litter, fallen branches and green waste, ensuring sites remain safe, clean and accessible.
• Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and perform routine maintenance.

Required profile

• Previous hands‑on experience in landscaping or environmental projects.
• CSCS Card and relevant tickets (strimming, ride‑on mower, brush cutter).
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
