Fleet Account Handler (Motor Fleet Insurance)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Fleet Account Handler to join our independent brokerage in Upton. You will specialise in motor fleet insurance, managing new business from quotation through to policy placement while building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound enquiries for motor fleet insurance and prepare accurate quotations.
• Negotiate terms with insurers to secure competitive cover for clients.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with fleet owners, understanding their risk profile and insurance needs.
• Identify opportunities to grow the portfolio and achieve sales targets.
• Provide expert advice and support throughout the policy lifecycle.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in insurance broking, preferably commercial motor fleet.
• Proven track record in a sales‑driven, target‑oriented environment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple client accounts.

Required skills

• Knowledge of motor fleet insurance products and underwriting processes.
