Fleet Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Fleet Assistant to join our Leeds site. You will be the first point of contact for customers receiving or returning vehicles, ensuring a smooth and professional hand‑over experience while supporting the day‑to‑day running of our fleet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage vehicle hand‑over, check‑in and check‑out processes for customers.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, record any damage or missing items, take photographs and complete the relevant forms.
• Prepare vehicles for sale, ensuring they are presented to a high standard and condition details are accurately logged.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records and ensure vehicles are moved safely around the site, including to and from the valeting bay.
• Use a PDA to log movements, inspections and other operational data.

Required profile

• Excellent customer service attitude with a friendly, outgoing manner.
• Full driving licence held for at least one year and confidence in vehicle manoeuvring.
• High attention to detail and a methodical, process‑driven approach.
• Physically active and able to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Some knowledge of the fleet or leasing industry is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
