Flexible Class 1 Driver

About the role

Veolia is seeking experienced Class 1 drivers who want a flexible, part‑time schedule while maintaining a steady income. You will collect hazardous and non‑hazardous waste from commercial sites across the UK, operating a range of specialised vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Collect hazardous and non‑hazardous waste from various commercial locations.
• Operate curtain siders, trailers with tail lifts and vacuum tankers safely.
• Complete daily worksheets, vehicle check sheets, fuel receipts and weighbridge tickets.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, load security and weight regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Cat C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Previous experience driving large commercial vehicles.
• Driver CPC certification.
• ADR qualification for transporting hazardous materials.
