Flexible Early Years Practitioner – Oxfordshire & Swindon

About the role

We are seeking qualified Early Years Practitioners to work flexibly across a range of nurseries in Oxfordshire and Swindon. The role involves supporting children aged 0‑5 in daily routines, play and learning activities while delivering a safe and nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist children aged 0‑5 with daily care, meals and rest periods.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate play and learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating nursery environment.
• Work collaboratively with existing nursery staff to meet regulatory standards.
• Complete required documentation such as attendance records and incident reports.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of UK nursery experience with children aged 0‑5.
• Qualified to Level 2 or Level 3 (or higher) in Early Years Education.
• Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
• Five‑year reference history with explanations for any employment gaps.

Required skills

• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
• Safeguarding Level 2 certification (or willingness to obtain).
