About the role
We are seeking qualified Early Years Practitioners to provide flexible, high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 across a range of nurseries in the West Midlands. The role offers a variety of settings and shift patterns, allowing you to balance work with personal commitments while earning competitive hourly rates.
Key responsibilities
- Support children aged 0-5 in daily routines, play, and learning activities.
- Deliver age-appropriate educational experiences in line with EYFS standards.
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to plan and implement activities.
- Observe and record children’s progress and communicate with parents as required.
Required profile
- Minimum one year of UK nursery experience with children aged 0-5.
- Qualified Level 2 or Level 3 (or higher) in Early Years Education.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Five-year reference history with explanations for any employment gaps.
Required skills
- Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain).
- Safeguarding Level 2 Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

- Flexible shift patterns – part-time, full-time or contractor.
- Hourly pay ranging from £13.00 to £16.50 depending on experience.
