About the role
Hays Education is partnering with welcoming primary schools in the South West to find enthusiastic supply teachers. This flexible position allows you to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, fitting your schedule while making a positive impact on young learners.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for primary pupils.
- Follow each school’s policies and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms, timetables and school cultures.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
