About the role
Hays Education is partnering with welcoming primary schools across South West England to find qualified Primary Teachers who want flexible, varied work. This supply teaching role allows you to teach across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 on a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons for pupils aged 3‑11.
- Follow each school’s policies and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt quickly to different classrooms, timetables and school cultures.
- Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development.
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
- Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude.
