About the role
Reed Education is seeking qualified teachers for flexible, day‑to‑day supply work across schools in Plymouth. The role offers variety, work‑life balance and the support of a dedicated local recruitment team.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that meet the curriculum and school expectations.
- Provide academic and emotional support to pupils during your placement.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments, age groups and classroom needs.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere and uphold school policies.
- Leave clear handover notes for the returning teacher.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching in UK schools.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one (cost £49.50).
- Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
Required skills
- Confidence managing diverse classroom settings and age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
