About the role

We are seeking retired primary school teachers who want to return to the classroom on a flexible, part‑time basis. The role allows you to share your experience with young learners across Kent and Medway without the pressure of full‑time commitments.

Key responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons to primary‑age pupils in line with the school curriculum.
Provide classroom support and foster a positive learning environment.
Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of each class you cover.
Maintain attendance records and basic classroom documentation.

Required profile

Former primary school teacher who has retired from full‑time teaching.
Passion for education and a desire to inspire young minds.
Availability to work one day a week or more, starting in April.
Willingness to travel to schools across Kent and Medway.
