Flights & Ticketing Executive

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Flights & Ticketing Executive to join a well‑established travel company in London. You will be responsible for processing ticketing, reissues and refunds while providing essential support to our sales agents.

Key responsibilities

• Process ticketing, reissue and refund requests within required timeframes.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to sales agents on all GDS bookings.
• Monitor queues, manage schedule changes and perform end‑of‑day checks to ensure ticket accuracy.
• Notify agents and customers of flight changes or amendments.
• Assist internal teams with fare quotations, ticket reissues and complex fare builds.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a flights or airfares environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GDS reservation and ticketing systems (Amadeus preferred).
• Excellent understanding of fare types, fare rules, ticketing, reissues and refunds.
• Advanced fare management skills, including manual fare builds and complex ticket revalidations.
• Ability to navigate NDC, traditional GDS content and consolidators.
• Exceptional attention to detail and solid Excel spreadsheet experience.

Required skills

• Amadeus (or other GDS) ticketing system.
• Excel for data handling and reporting.
• General GDS navigation and fare management.
