Floating Remedial Site Manager – 6-Month Contract

About the role

This 6‑month contract offers a flexible working arrangement – either a day‑rate or a fixed‑term salary – for a seasoned Site Manager to lead remedial render works for a leading housebuilder across the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee remedial works on multiple live residential sites in Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire.
• Monitor progress, quality and safety to ensure timely, high‑standard delivery.
• Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and homeowners, maintaining clear communication.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections, reporting updates via company systems.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and project documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within the house‑building sector.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities to manage several sites simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for building positive relationships with trades, teams and customers.
• Competent IT proficiency with site‑management and reporting tools.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
