Floating Retirement Living Assistant

About the role

The Floating Retirement Living Assistant provides the first point of contact for residents and visitors across Riverside's retirement and sheltered housing schemes in the Liverpool City Region. Working from the reception and over the phone, you will deliver a professional, supportive service while helping to manage tenancy administration.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet visitors, ensuring a courteous and helpful experience.
• Maintain accurate tenancy records, agreements and confidential files.
• Assist residents with queries related to their accommodation and support services.
• Collaborate with the housing management team to deliver day‑to‑day operations across Liverpool, Knowsley, Halton, St Helens, Sefton and Wirral.
• Uphold health, safety and data protection standards within the reception area.

Required profile

• Experience in a customer‑focused environment.
• Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written.
• Previous work with vulnerable or older adults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
