FLT Operator – 4 on 4 off shift

About the role

Join Northwood’s busy manufacturing site in Ellesmere Port as a Forklift (FLT) Operator. You will work a 4‑on‑4‑off roster, covering two days and two nights before four days off, moving raw materials, components and finished goods safely across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Transport raw materials, components and finished goods between designated areas as directed by Operations or Supply Chain teams.
• Unload incoming materials and store them in appropriate locations.
• Load trailers with finished goods efficiently and safely.
• Remove finished goods from production lines and relocate large bulky items such as waste skips and core cages.
• Maintain equipment in good condition and report any faults or damage immediately.

Required profile

• Valid Counterbalance B2 licence with clamp attachment.
• Willingness to move heavy materials while prioritising safety.
• Collaborative attitude with a clean‑as‑you‑go approach.
• Experience in a paper converting, reel storage or similar environment is preferred.
