Flute Lecturer – Permanent Part‑time

About the role

Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is seeking a distinguished, committed, and versatile flute teacher to deliver instruction across foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from September 2026. The appointment is permanent, part‑time and compensated on an hourly basis.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual and group flute lessons to students at all study levels.
• Conduct master‑classes and workshops.
• Assess and evaluate student performance and progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and programme planning.
• Collaborate with departmental staff and participate in faculty meetings.
• Mentor and support students from diverse backgrounds.
• Engage in outreach and community‑focused activities.

Required profile

• Recognised professional flute performer with substantial teaching experience in higher education.
• Demonstrated ability to teach students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
• Commitment to artistic excellence and innovation.
• Willingness to work across foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
