Food and Beverage Assistant (Bank Shift)

About the role
Join the Food and Beverage team at Elstree View Care Home, supporting residents during meals and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. You will work on‑site in a caring environment, helping residents choose and enjoy their meals.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with selecting meal options at mealtime.
- Set dining tables according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, tidy front‑of‑house area and clear dirty crockery throughout the day.
- Replenish fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fruit in the bistro areas.
- Monitor and respect residents' dietary requirements.
Required profile
- Demonstrates high personal hygiene standards.
- Shows compassion and commitment to delivering quality culinary service.
- Previous experience in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel is desirable.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is beneficial.
