Food and Beverage Duty Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Duty Manager to join a busy hotel in Bromley. Working closely with the Operations Manager and the Restaurant & Bars Manager, you will help deliver outstanding service across the hotel’s restaurant, bar, conference, banqueting, wedding and events facilities. The position starts immediately and offers a competitive salary.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant service periods on a rota and ensure high‑quality guest experiences.
• Manage weddings, conferences and other events, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams.
• Support the bar team and ensure seamless operation during peak periods.
• Meet and exceed targets and goals set by senior management.
• Train and mentor team members within the Food & Beverage department.
• Carry out full duty‑manager duties, including opening/closing procedures and incident handling.

Required profile

• Proven track record in high‑volume hotel or similar hospitality operations.
• Multi‑skilled with a hands‑on work ethic and ability to roll up sleeves.
• Strong customer focus and ability to meet performance targets.
• Experience training staff and managing duty‑manager responsibilities.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.

Required skills

• Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred).
• Allergens Training (preferred).

What we offer

• Salary range £28,000 – £35,000 per year.
