Food & Beverage Assistant

About the role

The Food & Beverage Assistant will support the Bar and Restaurant teams at DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol City Centre, ensuring guests receive a high‑standard dining experience. You will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to maintain service consistency and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests in the Bar and Restaurant, delivering courteous and efficient service.
• Prepare and maintain mise en place, ensuring stock levels are sufficient and rotated.
• Assist with restaurant set‑up and close‑down procedures.
• Take orders accurately and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Support the team in smooth service operations and maintain high presentation standards.
• Monitor waste, minimise it, and report any faults or defects.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house areas.
• Adhere to uniform standards and foster professional relationships with all hotel departments.
