Food & Beverage Assistant (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Food & Beverage Assistant will join a busy, guest‑facing team at Hilton Garden Inn Emirates Old Trafford. Working across the bar, restaurant and event spaces, you will help deliver the signature “Lancashire welcome” to hotel guests, match‑day visitors and event attendees.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
• Provide restaurant and bar service, including food, drinks and cocktail preparation.
• Take orders accurately and deliver them efficiently.
• Prepare, maintain and tidy restaurant and bar areas, setting up tables to required standards.
• Handle payments in line with company procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe and well‑presented work areas.
• Upsell food, drinks and promotions to support departmental targets.

Required profile

• Full flexibility to work shifts between 6 am and 1 am, including weekends.
• Experience in waiting and bar service, preferably in a restaurant environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to serve alcohol.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
