Foodhall Manager – Retail Store Leadership

About the role

As a Foodhall Manager you will lead the Fresh and Ambient sections of the store, ensuring high product availability, excellent shop‑floor standards and a safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily trading activity, maintaining availability targets and key performance metrics.
• Drive promotional and modular set‑ups to meet brief and schedule.
• Lead, coach and develop the Foodhall and Night teams, fostering a culture of selling with personality.
• Monitor waste, shrink and stock levels, implementing actions to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and legal standards across the department.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge of food or non‑food departments, including availability and waste management.
• Strong organisational abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
