Foot Mobile Building Engineer

About the role

Catch 22 is partnering with a leading facilities‑management provider to hire a Foot Mobile Building Engineer for a portfolio of prestigious corporate office buildings across Central London. You will work on high‑profile headquarters, financial institutions and premium office spaces, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance while representing a professional, customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on electrical, mechanical and building‑services systems.
• Conduct fault finding, minor remedial works and repairs with minimal disruption to occupants.
• Maintain accurate compliance, maintenance and statutory records.
• Liaise with clients, building managers and FM teams to ensure an exceptional service level.
• Support the safe, efficient and compliant operation of prestigious corporate workplaces.

Required profile

• Essential knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Recognised electrical qualification.
• Experience maintaining commercial building‑services systems in high‑end corporate or blue‑chip environments.
• Professional, customer‑focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work a 1‑in‑5 on‑call rota (Friday‑to‑Friday) and occasional weekends.
• Ability to obtain security clearance and pass background and credit checks.
