Foot Mobile Engineer – Commercial Building Services

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Foot Mobile Engineer to join a leading building services provider in Central London. You will maintain and repair a portfolio of prestigious commercial properties, delivering both planned preventative maintenance and reactive support.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across commercial buildings.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance on equipment such as pumps, belts, bearings, AHUs and FCUs.
• Diagnose electrical faults, carry out repairs and ensure efficient system operation.
• Complete maintenance reports, logbooks and keep documentation up to date.
• Work in line with health and safety regulations, company procedures and client requirements.
• Liaise with subcontractors and building managers to maintain high service standards.
• Assist with permits to work, risk assessments and site compliance activities.

Required profile

• Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience in a commercial building services environment.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Basic mechanical knowledge with a multi‑skilled approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Professional, reliable and customer‑focused attitude.

• £43,000 – £45,000 basic salary per year.
