Forestry & Arboriculture Lecturer / Course Manager

About the role

A well‑established land‑based education provider in South Cheshire is seeking a passionate Lecturer / Course Manager for Forestry & Arboriculture. You will deliver engaging teaching and practical training on a 300‑hectare rural campus, preparing learners for careers in forestry, arboriculture and related sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and hands‑on training across forestry and arboriculture.
• Assess learners using a range of methods in line with awarding‑body requirements.
• Manage course duties including tutorials, pastoral care and safeguarding.
• Build strong relationships with employers to enhance recruitment and progression opportunities.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Forestry, Arboriculture or a related field.
• Proven industry experience within a land‑based environment.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
• Strong communication, organisational and planning abilities.
• Genuine passion for supporting learner development.
