Fork Lift Driver

About the role

The company is expanding its warehouse operations in Felling, Gateshead and is looking for a Fork Lift Driver to join the team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for moving, storing and processing stock safely and accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Process and move stock from put‑away to designated warehouse locations.
• Store pallets safely in racking following risk‑assessment procedures.
• Consolidate stock to maintain smooth flow of goods.
• Replenish customer pick‑face locations proactively.
• Perform component and dispatch picking as required.
• Complete inventory control routines and communicate any issues.
• Carry out daily forklift pre‑use checks and maintain key control.
• Support waste, recycling and housekeeping initiatives.

Required profile

• Team‑player with a ‘can‑do’ attitude.
• Reliable and dedicated to completing tasks.
• Comfortable working in a process‑driven environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately each day.

Required skills

• Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck operation (licence not essential – training provided).
• Use of handheld devices and associated warehouse software.

• Competitive rate of £13.32 per hour.
• Full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday 8 am‑4 pm schedule.
